ワイン造りを経験し、1905年モンタルチーノに移住し、ワイナリーを経営。
スミレや黒いベリー系果実の香りと、甘いスパイスのニュアンス。
黒スグリ、ラズベリーなどの果実の味わい、滑らかなタンニンもあり、複雑さと凝縮感のあるしっかりとした味わい。
すぐ飲んでも美味しく素晴らしいヴィンテージですが、長年寝かせておくと本領を発揮します。
FULIGNI BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO 産地：イタリア・トスカーナ・モンタルチーノ アペラシオン名：DOCG ブルネッロ ディ モンタルチーノ ブドウ品種：サンジョヴェーゼ 100% 土壌：石灰粘土質、粘板岩、ガレストロ 樹齢：約10〜30年 植密度：2,700〜5,500本/ha 醸造・熟成：定温 (27〜30度）で発酵、熟成はスラヴォニア産オークの樽とフレンチオーク樽の併用で約38ヶ月。
その後、更に瓶内で約10ヶ月熟成後リリース。
【フリーニの特徴】スラヴォニア産の大樽を使って造る伝統的なブルネッロの造り ブルネッロの町に近い血統のよいテロワール(生産地域の中心部)に位置する小規模生産者。

So long and muscular, yet polished and formed. Most structured Brunello I have ever had from here. A wine for decades. Try after 2022. Wine Enthusiast：98点 Rose, violet, camphor, wild berry and aromatic herb aromas are front and center in this gorgeous red. It’s juicy, enveloping and delicious, doling out succulent black cherry, raspberry compote, licorice and baking spice alongside velvety tannins. Thanks to the estate’s vineyards north of Montalcino, it has freshness and mid-term staying power. Drink 2022?2030. VINOUS：96点 Drinking Widow: 2022-2036 Review Date: Apr 2020 Fuligni's 2015 Brunello di Montalcino is dark and alluring, pulling me closer to the glass with each swirl, as a mix of ripe black cherry, rosemary, smoke, and moist earth lift from the glass, with sweet florals and a bit of animal musk developing over time. On the palate, it glides across the senses like silk, with ripe dark red fruits paving the way for sweet spice, as saline-minerals slowly saturate in a display that was perfectly balanced and not missing a single step. The finish is long, showing the first notes of tannic heft, with dried red fruits and minerals. The 2015 Fuligni Brunello balances its beautifully ripe fruit with classic tannins and a truly gorgeous perfumed character. It’s sure to have a lot of fans, and as it youthfully closes up in the glass. メディチ家が崩壊したイタリアに帰国し、ハプスブルグ家に仕え、トスカーナ州マレンマ地方に広大な領地を与えられました。
スカンサーノでワイン造りの経験を積んだジョヴァンニ・マリア・フリーニが、1905年モンタルチーノに移り住み、ワイナリーを創業。
現在、マリア・フローラフリーニとシエナ大学の教授も兼任するワインメーカー、ロベルト・グエッリーニによって経営されており、70年代初頭からブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノと、ロッソ・ディモンタルチーノを生産しています。
フリーニのワイナリーと畑は、モンタルチーノから3〜4kmのところに位置し、ブルネッロの伝統的な認定地区東南・東に位置し、泥灰質の土壌中心の土壌。
ワイナリーとしては、100haを所有。
ブドウ畑は僅か10haのみで、標高380〜450mに位置し、オリーブも栽培されています。
