アメリカ旅行中に英語版を購入したのでてっきりアメリカのスープ本だと信じていた所、イギリス人による書斎だと判明。
スープといえばニューイングランドクラムチャウダーが載っているのが当たり前なのに載ってなく、本場ミネストローネはスパゲッティより短いパスタを使っている筈なのに。。。創作レシピなので期待外れでした。変わったスープを求めている人にはオススメ。
I expected this to be American soup recipe since I bought this in the US. Howev, I recently found out that the author was British and seems to have forgotten to include basic recipes such as New England Clam Chowder. I also never saw minestrone using spaghetti rather than a short pasta. The book is a bit hard to flip through as photos and recipes are about ten pages apart. This book is more for people who got tired of regular old soup menu.
