The author continues to pull the reader deeper into what is an epic landscape of a grand scale. I found the first half of the book a little slow, but by no means boring, but things pick up a lot in the last few hundred pages.

I won’t bother explaining the story, because you’ve probably already read the first book, or at least reviews, so any information on this sequel would only serve as spoilers. I hate spoiler reviews!
